Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: Breaking Barriers and Overcoming Challenges
The role of women in entrepreneurship has been gaining momentum in recent years. Despite significant progress, women entrepreneurs still face many barriers that can hinder their success. To discuss these issues, a virtual session was held on March 9th, 2023, titled “Breaking Barriers: Empowering Women Entrepreneurs to Overcome Challenges and Succeed in Business.”
The event featured four guest speakers, Garima Seth, Smita Mishra, Swati Bhargava, and Vandana Tolani, who are successful women entrepreneurs in their respective fields. The moderator for the session was Nirupam Kritika Dhingra from AIC-BIMTECH.

Smita Mishra, the founder, and CEO of Fandoro, discussed the importance of work-life balance for women entrepreneurs. She highlighted the need to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Swati Bhargava, the co-founder of CashKaro, emphasized the importance of having a clear vision and staying focused on achieving the set goals. She encouraged the participants to develop a strong brand identity and engage with their customers to build trust and loyalty.
Vandana Tolani, the founder and CEO of Convanto, shared her experience of overcoming challenges related to limited access to resources. She advised the participants to leverage technology to their advantage and focus on building a strong team with diverse skills and expertise.
The session concluded with a Q&A session, where the participants had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions and seek further advice. The event provided a platform for women entrepreneurs to learn from successful women in their fields and gain valuable insights into overcoming the barriers that they may face.
